So, today is our last full day at my parents house!!!We got the keys to our new place yesterday and we are moving tomorrow.
YAY!!!!!
But this all means that I will be without the internetfor an unknown amount of time.
For the time being the blog will come to a stopand i will be posting over on my Tumblr.It will be easier to keep with it all cause i can update from my not-so-fancy smart phone..haha.

Today was a good slow day. Little Miss and I got off to a slow start. Slept in a little long. We still had a nice day. We walked to the mail box, with out sunglasses. She has this thing with the sun lately, so we are working on it. I also got some housework and home errands done today. Then i made some fresh squeezed lemoaide and with the pulp i made lemon ice. Perfect for water with lemon slices...my NEW FAVORITE!!!

I also made tuna for lunch for my dad and I and Little Miss had a "cheese grilled sandwich" haha! Now we have turkey legs cooking and my dad is teaching me a family recipe for turkey and saffron rice. Its one of my favorite dishes.

Don't know if i mentioned it before but we are moving out of my parents place REALLY soon. We found a smaller place at the same complex we were at and we have it all paid for, we are just waiting for the old tenants to move out so we can move in!!! Im so happy that it didnt take long to save for our place. :)

A little help from the "experts"

I am in no way a "BIG TIME BLOGGER" at this moment in time.But there are very many out there that I "look up to", I guess you can say.
A few days ago Bethany and I were talking about my future moving and refurnishing plans.When the husband and I moved out of our last place with his dad, we decided to give away most of our kitchen contents.Meaning, dishes, most cups, silverware, pots and pans.We did this because we were anticipating buy all over again.
MEANING: I get to thrift EVERYTHING!!!

My favorite tips:

Be picky! This is your dream collection. Don't just buy something because it's on clearance or because it's a steal at the thrift store. Think to yourself, "Tomorrow, will I regret not having purchased this?" If the answer is an honest "yes", then I would say, go for it!

Become a regular thrifter. I've found most of my new collection at local thrift stores. After I cleaned them vigorously, they made quite the charming addition to my quirky family of dishes. Also, if I find something new that I can't live without, it's not difficult to relinquish the inexpensive older items to make room for the new ones.

I don't know why I did it, but I did.I joined Gilt GroupeAll thanks to seeing the AMAZING scores Miss James over at Bleu Bird Vintage has found.
You know what...This is ALL BAD on the wallet! haha.They have some REALLY good deals on lots of different things.Right now they have AMAZING bamboo kitchen stuff on sale.For those that don't know. We are between apartments right now and in the process of moving we decided to ditch all our old college/ hand-me-down stuff and start out all new.
Man, I wish payday was here already!I hope i can talk the hubby into getting a few of these. :)Take a look.

I love it all!

A new year!

I'm excited for this blog today. One of my New Years Goals for 2011 is to blog more. What better way to start off then on Day 1! Haha.
I want to start off with the a little photo timeline from 2010.But for me its going to be a little different. :)

As you can tell, I have grown a bit in these last few weeks.

Im really excited for my growing belly,

as this is my FAVORITE part of being pregnant.

I absolutely love the big belly!!

For a couple months at least, till i'm HUGE! Haha.

Just a little bit of history I wanted to note today!

Today marks 6 years that I have been with my hubby.

I'm talking since we first started dating!! :)

So in honor of the day I wanted to take you down memory lane a bit.

Here is a picture of us from my senior year at my prom!

We found out three weeks later that #2 was on her way!

Another Tutu in the house!!!

That's right!! We are having ANOTHER little girl!!

I'm very excited, but still a little shocked.

I was dead set that it was a boy because of how different my pregnancies have been.

Two little girl!!

Daddy is in a little bit more shock than me at the

thought of two girls.

We did the calculations and at one point we are going to

have a 13 and a 16 year old!!! AHHH!

But one day at a time.

In Dr news. Everything looks good, except I have a low lying placenta.Which will most likely fix its self, but could cause problems.So for now, the hubby gets to keep his hands off till 32 weeksand I get to go back for another ultrasound then too!
But other than that...all is well, in the baby making depot!!

Touchdown or Tutu?!?!?

Yes...the hubby and I are BIG Miami Dolphins fans!

Tomorrow is a very important day for this little family! We find out the gender of baby #2!!I am BEYOND excited and just want to get today over with, because by this time tomorrow I will be finding out if Little Miss has a baby brother or a baby sister. :)
I am all for team Touchdown!! But the Hubby is on team Tutu!!
We are keeping the results a surprise from family until Xmasso I will be back after the holidays to share the news!

I love thrift stores!!

I love some of the things that you can find at the thrift stores. Usually I like all of the cute vintage finds that you can find there. But about a week ago my mom found two things even better!!!

Look at what she scored. (not the best pictures, thank you cell phones!)

The price of the double stroller was $20 and the swing was $25 (selling on ebay for $125 still!! SCORE!!) The best part was....they were then 20% off!!! (DOUBLE SCORE!!)

My mom ended up paying around $35 for both! I actually REALLY like the swing. I love ocean themes!(so does the hubby and Little Miss) The stroller I could really care less what it looks like, its just one of the needed items if you have two little ones. But man, those things can be pricey!! I'm all for saving money when it comes to baby gear, and I am very proud of it! :)

Call me silly, but I have gotten the crocheting bug again. And what shall I do with this bug you ask...I've decided to start on a baby blanket for the new one on the way. Funny thing is, is that we don't know what it is yet. haha. So what do I do when I wanna start a blanket but don't know the color scheme?
Make white granny square centers!!!

This way I can go with any colors that I want once we find out what the baby is. Also, since Little Miss does not have a "hand made my mommy" crocheted blanket, I will more than likely have enough yarn in this skene to make enough for a blanket for her too!! Yay mama!!!
I will make sure to keep everyone updated with the progress of BOTH blankets. :)

I thought it was about time to show off the ever growing belly. And when I came across a picture of me from my last pregnancy I had to compare the two! Im really happy that I don't look a gazillion times bigger with this new baby. I just look like my belly is going to turn into a torpedo and shoot people. haha. Getting back in action...

So we finished our move.
We moved in with my parents for about 2.5 months, in order to get the finances in order to get a place of our own before this baby comes. :)
Although we are all three (four!) stuck in one small bedroom, I think its now going to drive me too crazy. The best part is I get the use of a nice big screen computer. To use for what ever I please! (bring on the blogs and facebook. teehee)
The family is finally settled enough where I feel confident coming back.
So here's to getting this place back in action!!! :)

I have been holding off on getting this blog started again and I think it is finally time to.
I have a new look and I am going to have a new direction to start it off.
I started this blog as a craft blog, but I have found that my everyday life as a mommy to a toddler kinda distracted me from doing the fun crafty things that I wanted to show on the blog. This gave me an idea....a mommy blog!!!
I have been having baby fever for some time now and found myself always looking at mommy/family blogs over crafty blogs. I still LOVE to craft and that little part of my life will show up here and there, but I think I will focus on the family part as the main focus.
It also helps that we are now expecting baby #2!! We do not know the gender yet, but will be finding out very soon! :)
Now that I have a new focus for the blog I shall be off to start planning and searching for fun blog posts!!
